How hex dumbbell cartons actually fail

Hex dumbbell carton damage is usually a corner puncture, a handle rub through the paper, or a pair that split so one bell hammers the other. It is a packing-mode fail, not a “heavy cargo” slogan. The plate-shaped neighbors in the same container make it worse when weight plates and dumbbells share a layer without a written stuffing note.

For hex rubber dumbbells, the six corners concentrate force on the carton wall. A round-head bell rolls; a hex corner cuts. Write the inner pack for hex, not a generic “export carton.”
